Soil Amendments

BioChar

Biochar is a stable, carbon-rich form of charcoal, primarily used as a soil amendment to boost fertility, improve water retention, and permanently sequester carbon to fight climate change. It also has industrial applications in filtration and construction.

Due to its highly porous, alkaline nature, biochar improves soil structure, enhances nutrient retention, and boosts microbial life. It helps plants grow larger, faster, and increases resistance to drought.

Its high adsorption capacity allows it to bind to toxic heavy metals, neutralize acidic soils, and filter pollutants out of water.

Used as an additive in concrete or clay to provide thermal insulation, regulate humidity, and provide electromagnetic shielding.
